Hey Everyone!! Today I have an inexpensive, yet effective, way to make a shabby background. You can use it for cards, as I'll show you later in this post, mini albums, or even layouts. All you'll need is an old box, acrylic paint, and a paper towel to get started.
Cut the size you need for your particular project out of an old cardboard box. I'm using mine on the front of a card, so I cut it to 4" x 5 1/4." Most corrugated boxes consist of a top layer, corrugated core, and bottom layer. Carefully, peel back just the top layer, exposing the core.
Put a dab of acrylic paint on a paper towel, and rub over the top of the ridges in the core. Dry completely. Acrylic paint dries quickly, but if you're impatient like me use your Heat It Tool or hair dryer.
Repeat the previous step with white or off-white acrylic paint.
Done! You have a quick and easy shabby background.
I made a card out of my shabby background using BoBunny's newest collection Snowfall now available in our online store. I used the 12x12 glittered paper and trinkets. The ribbon is Webster's Pages Polka Net Blue.
Another way you can use the shabby cardboard you made is diecut it! Here's an example of how you can use diecuts on the front of a mini. I used the Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz Sewing Room die to cut the dressform.
I hope this has inspired you to pull out your old boxes, and create a work of art!
you rock. you just do.

Unfortunately, in terms of any type of medical care, you often have to interview multiple health advisors before determing the best practitioner for you. Relaxin is a great thing as it allows the pelvis and uterus to get ready for the birth from the child. It has become observed, too, that chiropractic treatment gives more long-standing health advantages to the toddler.
