Here is the card that I made today that I will be teaching at the Scrap-aThon in July. Flower Soft and Distress Embossing Powder were some of the things I used. I will also include a coordinating A2 size envelope made on the Scor Pal.
Here is the other card I will be teaching in that class.
My friend Niki, in the UK, sent me the best package of goodies! She sent me a music note pin (because she's a pianist), some tags and little jounals to decorate, a cute pink pencil, some Pritt glue sticks that she uses in the UK, and a gorgeous, gorgeous, beautiful necklace with a vintage locket that she made!!! Isn't she the best, and so talented!!!! And, if that wasn't already too much, she sent me 3 autographed books that her fiance wrote! I started reading one at night, and got spooked, so now I'm only reading them during the day. I'm really enjoying them!
I ordered this gorgeous waxed print on canvas by Wyanne Thompson two weeks ago and it came today! It is sooooo beautiful! It reminds me of my oldest daughter! I also order a set of post cards, and she sent me a signed print! I <3 Wyanne!
I painted this one Sunday morning when I felt on top of the world. Everytime I look at it I feel that way again. I used arcrylic paint, watercolor crayons, and mica powder (which makes it look radiant). It's still waiting to be waxed.
I've been working on this custom order for a while, and I was beginning to think I was never going to finish it. I felt like I was having a creative block, but I think I'm back on track. I'm happy to say, I'm very close to being finished. Yay!
I'm very excited about my new blog. It seems to be coming together. I hope to post more pics, and add more features soon.
My Etsy shop is looking a little bare, so I'm hoping to get more things made soon. It's so hard to find the time to do it all. Last night I was feeling creative, and made a "make & take" for an event we are having next week at Memories Galore. The creative juices were flowing, so I whipped it up in no time flat! I made it using distress ink. Hopefully, I'll get a pic up soon to show you.
